Has anyone got any tips they think will help?
Thanks

Hi Rikard,

3BBB is a difficult trick - it is worth remembering that when you
practice. If you find it tough, try not to get too disheartened.

I'll tell you a little about how I used to practice this trick. I say
'used to' because I don't seem to do it much anymore for some reason!

Symmetry: I used to practice the following, with all 3 behind the back 2
in one hand (e.g. right) 1 in the other, make just 2 exchanges, catching 2
back in the hand that started the cascade (right). Then make a single
throw and catch so that you have now have 2 in one hand (left) and 1 in
the other (right). Repeat.

Rhythm: Because it is hard to see the throws themselves it is very easy to
end up throwing much higher from one hand than the other. To combat this,
try to keep a constant rhythm. For the above drill you can chant
"throw-throw-catch-throw-catch"

Slow advances: one you are happy with "throw-throw-catch-throw-catch" try
"throw-throw-throw-catch", then
"throw-throw-throw-throw-catch-throw-catch". Note that any pattern that is
not symmetrical has a single throw and catch to move the pattern onto the
other side.

Don't drop! I know, easier said than done, however if you spend most of
the time repeating simple exercised that are just within your reach in
terms of skill level you will spend more time learning and less time
picking stuff up.

Posture: People seem to juggle BBB with various different postures, rather
than dictating how it should be done, just be aware of your body. It is a
slightly unnatural position - try to keep relaxed, allow your shoulders to
drop down, releasing any tension. And stop for a rest if it becomes
uncomfortable.

Track progress: Here is the progress I made whilst learning:

You might progress faster, you might progress more slowly, either way
having a little graph that slowly increases really helps motivate. I only
let myself have a few attempts at a long run each day most to re-enforce
the "Dont' Drop" rule.

Mix it up: You mention that you have managed a flash? This will open the
door to a whole world of tricks ...

Try juggling 3 in front of you then throw a single ball blind behind and
back into a cascade. Build up to an exchange, or even a cascade into BBB
flash and collect.

Try balancing a ball on your head then dropping it behind you into a BBB
flash.

Try a reverse shoulder throw into BBB flash, or a BBB 2 ball exchange,
then backcross out to regular cascade.

Everything in moderation: Don't overdo it, I would typically spend no more
than 5 minutes a day on this trick.

Good luck, let me know how you progress.
Colin E.

WOW, thanks Colin!
Thats actually really helpful.
I will keep track of how it's going by keep adding my record every day.
Thanks again!

Rikard
