to make a collaborative video, that may involve videos from a variety of
sources. So don't consider this a recommendation for the program, simply
mentioning that it's free at the moment. There may be other options out
there (even freeware ones), so if this thread only serves to promote
discussion of peoples favourite video editing software, I'm happy with
that.

From the list of complaints about failure to install and how it does
very little that isn't available anyway for free, I doubt this is
actually much use to anyone. Sorry.

True, although my interpretation of that was that it does actually handle
some of the more exotic formats that some free options don't, and that it
struggles with Vista. It still may be appropriate for some people.

As I said, not endorsing it, just showing that it's available.
