which is worse hula or poi?

In the Uk news today there was the story of a New Zealand girl who's been
made a ward of court because 9 years earlier her parents registered her
name as 'Talula who does the hula from Hawaii'.

During the hearing the judge mentioned some other names that had been
rejected by the registrar (presumably in other cases), which included
'twisty poi'. I thought it's funny that having 'hula' as part of your name
is ok, but 'poi' is going too far. Or maybe the latter registrar was a
juggler!
