I'm guessing you mean 'period 4' as in having four throws before repeating
on the same side, like the three 423 millsmesses. For any of these, I
don't think it hurts to start off using two balls and separately figuring
out what each hand does. So for 342 millsmess, starting with your arms
crossed and a ball in each hand, throw them as if to start a millsmess,
but catch both balls in the same (upper) hand. Then add a throw; the
second and third throws should be from the same hand. Uncross your arms
again after the third throw (now you catch a ball in each hand). Repeat on
the other side. Once you visualize the paths that the balls take, it
shouldn't be to complicated to add the third ball and try to juggle the
whole pattern.

Another nice pattern that could be called a period 4 millsmess is
(4,2)(2x,4)(2,4x)(4x,2)* with the hands crossing and uncrossing. This is
like continuously transitioning between millsmess and shower, but with
only one throw of the shower.

If you meant millsmess with a siteswap of period four, I suggest trying
3333.

I believe 3333 is a period 1 siteswap.
If you're looking for a real easy 3 ball period 4 siteswap, you could try
2226.
