i think your video, i believe IJA 2004 3ball comp (could be wrong) where
you called out the names of your tricks in a little song, is synced. the

you're pretty good at 3 ball juggling, Luke. go out and film yourself
doing a lot of tricks (how about 21 different ones? just like cb), and do
them really fast. then pick a song with a lot of stuff going on and play
it while watching your routine. i bet you can find, in a few short
minutes, that there is a lot of stuff that syncs.

your brain finds syncs. it's made up inside your head.

Jason's remix routine was very funny, I really enjoyed it, the music
selection was great... but if there was one thing it DIDN'T do was fit
perfectly to the music.

i don't think bliss' real performance syncs any better than the remix
video. i think it's pretty funny how you tell me this load about thinking
for myself or getting a clue or whatever because i agree with Jason and i
don't think that this is a well choreographed video by any stretch, but
uh...i don't see you giving anyone that message who agrees with you. or,
prove me wrong. show me some post where someone said "the bliss video is
great and it totally rocks!" and you tell them to get a clue because they
don't know what they are talking about.

i can't believe i have to add this, but (it's my opinion that) this video
does not sync. (it's my opinion) that this video is not well
choreographed. (it's my opinion) that bliss has bad form and technique.
and (it's my opinion) that this video is not enjoyable to watch.

i wasn't "repeating Garfield's arguments without thinking", i have watched
that damn video a bunch of times (and subsequent remixes) and i really
can't see it syncing better than a random album to a random movie
(tool/nbc).

if you make enough throws and enough catches to a song that has enough
beats and enough lyrics and notes, there will be syncs. it's the ol'
infinite monkeys with infinite typewriter thing again. if bliss makes 1000
throws and there are 500,000 things in the music (every single beat,
downbeat, word, guitar and bass note over several minutes), there are
bound to be syncs. so it syncs a little. big deal.

Actually, I disagree.

Bliss's routine does synch well, that's fact. It wouldn't have gained so
much popularity amoungst non-jugglers if it hadn't. So there's no reason
to argue over that aspect.

The quality of his act and whether he actually deserves all this publicity
is simply a matter of opinion (for example, in my opinion: no, he most
certainly does not). Now this is a healthy subject for debate as there is
no real "wrong answer".

I would also like to add that the Bliss Diss Remix is also a low blow.
It's fun to watch, but it doesn't PROVE that his routine will fit
perfectly with other tracks of music. The "random" music is placed in
areas where the rhthym matches the closest with CB's juggling. So "Grandma
got run over by a reindeer" fits with a fifteen second segment of Bliss's
routine, big deal. That doesn't mean that his entire routine would fit
with the song.

I mean, if I felt like being a jerk, I could probably do a "remix" to any
juggling video. That doesn't mean that the routine doesn't synch with the
original music, it just means that I found parts of the routine in which I
could insert another clip of music to.

The Bliss Remix accusation would only be valid if it, say, showed the
routine five times, each time being set to a SINGLE different song. If
those synched perfectly I'd believe it.

It's ok to criticize Chriss Bliss, but make sure you're doing it for the
right reasons. And trust me, there are a lot of those.
