not a good turnout for the ratings last year, eh? too bad, i actually did
watch em all on TV last year. AND i bought the diabolo/boxes DVD.
I realy doubt the shows were seen by people who didn't allready have an
interest in juggling. Of course it might have happend that some guy did
watch it cos he had nothing better to do and thought it was more fun
watching an incredible poor quality show that eg reading the news. You
know there is people who enjoys crappy movies too, so why not. Even if
the juggling was of great quality, the production was some of the worst
crap I have ever seen on the telly. So lets hope it's a bit better this
year. And I sure hope they have somebody else doing the coments though.
Wonder if they are going to make fun of Diets this year too. I mean, the
guy didn't do any better than outperforming all the others... Ahh they
can make fun of vovas faces then.. Ohh forgot! They Cant! Cos he's
hanging out with Jason! WTF! Who's going to be the bottom of the jokes
this time around then??
Not True. I've probably personally talked to more than a dozen
that watched them. In addition, Jason Kollum, who ocassionally teaches
school classes told me that a large number of school kids saw it.

That sounds like the exception that prooves the rule. I doubt more than
1% of the telly kids ever heard about it.
I've had no less than 20 people come up and tell me that they saw the
shows on ESPN, and none of them knew me or anything about juggling. They
all liked the shows a great deal. I'm not a performer or anything either,
so that is a LOT of people. All the jugglers I've talked to about it have
said nearly the same thing. And the ratings were good enough that ESPN
replayed the shows more times than they were obligated too. For the budget
they had the shows were better than most shown on ESPN2 or ESPN for that
matter.
The Passing Zone is doing the commentary this year, so it will be
fantastic. And no one will be at the bottom of the jokes with them, at
least not in a malicious or negative way.
Oh, and from what I saw at WJF Jason was 'hanging out' with Thomas more
than Vova.
