The pictures are nice and clear on your site, though in a majority of
the pictures, all of your photos show a tile floor, brown door, and in
one picture, I see a cardboard box to your side. The location where
you shot those photos sort of distracts from the photo itself. I think
you should show more photos of just you in a studio--you have a lot of
nice juggling photos, but every photo is a juggling shot--if a client
is going to hire you, they have your video to see your
abilities--picture after picture of ring juggling shows a client that,
well, you can juggle rings.
Maybe some headshots on there, maybe a shot just of you, no props, show
more personality than skill in your pictures--that's what the video is
for.
I agree with Brian, you need to have audience shots, with applause--you
need to show your clients that people like you and your act. I can't
tell if your video was filmed in front of live people--also, the whole
video was on the same stage--show a variety of venues.
The last shot of you on the globe in the restaurant,it's a nice trick,
but it doesn't look like anybody is paying attention.
Are you selling a juggling act, or a variety/comedy act? If it's just
juggling, maybe film more venues so you have a variety of stages
depicted, different angles, some different costumes, get audience
reactions too. If you do a comedy/variety act, depict that both
textually and pictorial on your site, and represent that in your video.
Your video/text/pictures should reflect the show you do and who you
promote to.
Hope that helps,
Jason
