Would you shoot a sasquatch?

One of the regulars on a hiking group I follow makes something of
a hobby of posting stuff about Bigfoot -- a subject on which he's read a
lot.

Now he points out that most of the reports come from
hunters, fishermen, and drivers (naturally enough) -- and finds
it very odd that most of the hunters don't shoot.

I have a guess -- at least one. But let me first ask the
rest of you: if you were out hunting, and saw such of a critter,
would you shoot it? And why or why not?
