#And The First Picture Has A Beer Can In It...........Nice!

That should not be much of a problem for anyone. Many guys do have a beer or a
small glass of a good buorbon at the end of the day so this is nothing. If this
is indeed a Michigan buck and the end of a Michigan day and the timestamp on the
EXIF data is correct then the picture was taken several minutes after 5 pm. Very
few minutes of legal hunting time left let alone daylight.

No where on the entire web site can I find a name, not even a first name. This
takes the personality out of a web site.

The real problem is that the web site is missing a lot of content. Sadly, in
this day and age of oversaturation of personal web sites it will be hard to find
enough material being donated by the general public to fill in the gaps.

I did notice that even though, as moderator, I sent the web link through that
the web site owner has yet to make a link back to the "rec.hunting newsgroup".
Also, a good suggestion would be to have links to more than just some commercial
web sites. BTW, the ones I saw had little of interest for hunters or fishermen
or even outdoor related.

Back to the picture What does bother me is that the beer can ruins a perfectly
good picture. We all have to think ahead when we take pictures of our hunting
success. This is a good picture. The deer is a nice one, it is nicely centered,
the hunter is postioned right and neither one of them is distracting from the
other. But, that beer can is tacky and it gets in the way.

Crop the picture to get rid of the trucks tailgate and the white object on the
other side of the picture. Then download a copy of The Gimp and learn how to use
it. Do a bit of digiatl darkroom work and get the beer can out of it. The result
would be a picture that would complement your hunting success and that you would
be proud to show anyone and not just the guys at camp.

Thank you for the insight. I will add a link back to the rec. hunting.
This is a Mich. buck shot on my grandparents land. The person is my
father, whom's name I will add to the sight. I am new at web sites and
building one has been a challenge! It is fun learning though, "on the
go!" What is "The Gimp?" I would like to have the website a relaxed
area but understand about the beer can. Once again, thank you for your
input.
