I don't know where everyone's gone, but I know the listserv doesn't
seem to like my e-mails. I've sent several in the past few weeks and
none of them have shown up. This one's being sent through Google. As
for your question:
Since I haven't worked out the bugs in my .308's scope, I'll be packing
my .30-06 for my elk/1st deer gun. It's got a good kick to it (7 1/4
lbs and a 40-year-old recoil pad), but I do 1" groups at 100 yds with
it. Assuming I fill out those tags, I'll probably use my .357,
although my .50 flinklock keeps calling for attention, too.
My goal is to be able to say I've taken game with every firearm I own
and those two and my .45 are the only ones I haven't taken anything
with yet. So either I'm doing well, or I need more guns.<G>
