It's tacky, but I used to use a rubber band on my field autos for trap.
Unless I was shooting doubles.
You can move it along the length of the port until you find the place
that catches the shell properly. Too far to the front dumps the shell
back into the port, and you have to stand there like an idiot trying to
get the hull out of the breech.
There is also a product that uses double sided tape to attach a wire
bale to the side of the receiver. It looks much better, however I
can't recall the name or source.
