If I had a choice for close in stuff (Under 40m) or spotlighting for possums, I would choose the Remmington purely because its cheaper and the iron sights are much easier to line up. If I was targeting stuff out to 90 m I would be all for the ruger with a scope. My $0.02 Randy wrote:
