Re: Lion Attack



The video was widely discussed on the African Hunters Forum and it's the
consensus of the African PH's that this was a canned hunt. Someone there
knew the story but I forget the details. There was a fence behind the lion.
It had only recently been released into the enclosure.

As I recall, SCI won't score lions taken in South Africa because of
unethical hunts like the one depicted.

And if you look closely as the lion attempts to escape and the PH fires, it
appears that he shot his tracker dead center. A black guy in a light
colored shirt to the right of the screen goes down like he was poleaxed.
