Following the "to every rule there is an exception" concept, an exception
in this case is feral pigs. Some states say that any pig (wild pig, boar,
domestic pig, any sort of pork on the hoof) on private land is "domestic
livestock," property of the landowner, and can be harvested as the
landowner sees fit.
