Of course entering into ANY debate or argument with an armed stranger is a
questionable bet with potentially ultimate results, and suggesting a visit
with the farmer because you were under a "different impression" might
work...
I've encountered hunters clearly breaking the law and decided discretion was
the better part of valor and did not make any challenge. Most hunters (even
unethical ones)would never consider attacking/shooting another hunter but
these days it's just not worth a few ducks.
