Guys, check out terraserver!

Just Google terraserver and check it out. Navigation is a bit squirrily but
not so bad once you get the hang of it. In some ways, more powerful than
Google Maps (also cool), in other ways not so cool. Terraserver seems to
have higher-resolution pictures of non-urban areas. I can see the play
structure in our yard out here in the woods. Plus you can type in a city or
town and a street address and it will get you real close. Google Maps has a
little more intuitive navigation.
It gives you topo maps and sattellite photos of anywhere in the USA. I've
already found a very intriguing meadow that i didn't know about on the far
side of a wilderness lake, in an area I'm gonna be hunting opening weekend
here in Oregon. Pretty much canoe-access only. Hmmmmm....
