Really....75 yards with factory ammo and iron sights? I gotta practice
more!!!

What is the maximum effective range for a taking a Whitetail with the 44mag.
My 44 has a 9.5in barrel. I figured 75 yards was pushing it. Am I just
being way too conservative? I'm having a feeling I should probably stick to
using my rifle this season and practice up for next season with the Ruger.
