I have a Ruger .44mag Super Redhawk as well- I love it. I'm comfortable out
to about 150 yards with a solid rest. I picked up a used Tasco 2x32 for
$50.00 and it works just fine. I think the Simmons would work just fine
also. Midway has their Simmons Pro Handgun scopes all listed from $95.99
(2x20)-$124.99 (2-6x32), regular price. Any of those should work for a 20
yard shot, but with some practice the open sights on the Redhawk ought to do
well at 20 yards too. (I tried it- but hunting a large open field in KY, I
had too many opportunities at 75-100 yards that I wanted a scope for). Open
sights make a challenge even more challenging!! Have fun whatever you try.
