I am a very old browser and I consider myself well used - but my
primary reason for posting here is to change the heading of the
discussion to that of Cracroft's Peerage since we appear to no longer
be discussing Burke's Peerage & Gentry and it is confusing to this old
person who thinks that he is going to gain information about one topic
and finds that the discussion in hand has absolutely no relevance to
it.

Please indulge an old man .... when you change the topic, change the
heading. Then I don't have to read what I am not interested in
(Patrick this is no reflection on your interesting work but a general
plea).
