Re: Concealed carry permits

I think the best thing Ex-Prez Bush II ever did, was to legalize
retired LEOs to carry in all states, if they follow the requirements of
their home state!
Of course, most firearm enthusiasts are firm believers in state's
rights! They'd hate to see some federal law changing that, wouldn't
they? <G>
In these lean financial times, I'm surprised the feds haven't came up
with a federal CCW, good in all states? It could be a real source of
revenue for them?
I'm curious, how much would you folks pay for such a permit, if one
was created? I'd pay $100 per year - At least!
Pushing a revenue enhancement plan certainly seems like a better way
to get such a program in action, than whining about how awful the feds
are, doesn' it?
