Re: Concealed carry permits


My bigger problem with Sheldon's post is the assumption that the person he
speaks of "can't hit the broad side of a barn". The fact of the matter is -
regardless of how avid shooters may want to believe there is something
special about what they do - almost anyone who can hold a gun can shoot
reasonably. There is much more hype from gun advocates which only seeks to
make them special, than is deserved. I've taken plenty of people out for
the first time, to have them shoot reasonably well first time out - no super
instruction classes, and certifications. Just simple common sense.
