Have you got some links to pictures of galling?

I can not find anything with a Google image search of "P99 galling"
I am having a hard time finding ANY pics of steel to steel galling:

I bought a Cricket .22 rimfire rifle for my son.
The firing pin was too hard to pull back.
My father looked at it and said there was galling, caused by steels of
similar hardness rubbing on each other. He said that it was a poor
design and I should get my money back. [My father was chief engineer
over a department of 150 engineers and draftsmen for 40 years. He has
over a dozen gun patents. He pounds on tables and yells in people's
faces]. I got my money back.

Any way, I have been shooting up to 20 plus' [+P++++++++++++++++++++]in
9mm and have never seen any wear in a decade. In semi auto pistols I
have only been overloading Berettas, Kel-Tecs, Glocks, Stars, Tokarevs,
Colts, Para Ordinance, Vestas, Republic Arms, FABRIQUE D?ARMES de
GUERREE , Savage, Husqvarna, and Mauser.

I have never overloaded a Walther p99 40sw, but I sure have overloaded
Glocks and Kel-Tecs in 40sw.
In 40sw have repeatedly shot 15.5 gr 800X with 200gr. That is a max
published load for 44 mag, and it really does pack the recoil when
confined to the strong little 40sw case.
