movie gun question, Tremors III (Back to Perfection)

We watched Tremors III this weekend. It's my least favorite of the
four, but still worth watching.

I've googled and apparently this one hasn't been discussed.

What is the bullpup rifle Michael Gross carries as his primary weapon
in this one? Looks a little like a Famas, but that doesn't make
sense. I couldn't match it to anything else in any of my
references.

Good dialogue after they all shoot at the first flying creature: "No,
you're both empty. You shot ten and she shot four." or something
like that. He counts his own shots of course, but keeps track of
everybody else too!
