Your information is helpful but would be even more helpful if you could
be more specific regarding what brand/type of earplug you are talking
about. There are so many types of plugs available a technique that
works with one won't work with another.
I agree fully that most problems with earplugs are a result of them not
being used correctly. Found this out in the construction field. Finally
had to have our Enviro Safety folks hold a class on how to used each
different type correctly since everyone didn't use the same brand.
