Just to give my opinion. Get a gun without a safety and a hard trigger to
pull. Something like a Kel-tec. You can drop it in a pocket and not worry.
As there is no safety to worry about , you just draw and pull the trigger.
Anyting you have to think about like taking off the safety or cocking the
gun it too much. Just practice so you can hit something like a gallon milk
jug 40 or 50 feet away. Most of the time if anyone is over that far away
they are not a threat to you or you need a rifle.
Depending on what I am wearing, I have a KT in 40 cal or a Glock 23 in a
holster on my right hip.
