AR15 jamming

Hi all, I have a Bushmaster AR15 that I'm having some trouble with. I
put about 30 rounds through at the range this weekend before it
started jamming on me.
What seems to be happening, is that the bolt is not traveling back far
enough to grab the next round. When the bolt is pushed forward by the
spring, it's digging into the top of the next round in the mag. This
is highly reproducible, occurring on nearly every successive shot.
If I had to guess, I imagine it's a cleaning issue. If that's the case
though, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks in advance for your help.
