air pistol with lethal dart-question

For those who want personal protection; can't afford a handgun; can't
get a ccw permit; or any other reason-

anyone recommend and have experience with inserting a sharp, lethal
metal dart in an inexpensive air pistol-as an effective self-defense
weapon?
