If you're not just "talking tough" about not buying from Pizza Hut, a
word of advice: "Yum! Brands" is their parent company, and sets the
policy. "Yum!" also sets policy for KFC, Taco Bell, and A&W. Want to
make not buying from Pizza Hut "count"? Boycott the others, as well.

As a former Pizza Hut employee, I can tell you they've got some
*RIDICULOUS* policies in place, thanks to "Yum!" and their absolutely
*STUPID* policy pronouncements from on high. I nearly got fired for
carrying a standard "Uncle Henry" lockback knife in a belt-case - Total
length when opened: A hair over 6 inches. One day without any warning,
after having carried it, and making *NO* secret of it for almost 3
months (on multiple occasions, *ACTUALLY HANDING IT TO THE MANAGER* when
he needed a blade to cut the tape on a box, cut a balloon string, or
similar "hey, anybody got a knife handy?" situations) it became an
"issue".

Another delivery driver DID get fired for carrying a can of pepper spray
on deliveries.

At least two other drivers in my store carried a piece on deliveries,
although it was never "officially" known, and even less "officially"
talked about. And I damn-well don't blame them - Some of the places (and
people) we had to deliver to were just plain scary even if you WEREN'T
carrying something a doper might want, and were there in broad daylight,
never mind being "on his turf" at 10 o'clock at night!
