Yeah, if it's just cosmetic, I may be interested. If it has mechanical
issues, I'll pass due to lack of parts availability.

#Do much gun show haggling? You can always start with my favorite line.
#"Would you take $$$$$" ? This is the time when you try to steal it and see
#who you're dealing with. If he knows which end is up means you have to do
#different than if you're dealing with the typical gun show ignoramus. Just
#because he's a buddy doesn't mean you should feel obligated to overpay for
#the piece. His reaction and counter offer should tell you if knows what he
#has. Take it from there. Remember, something is only worth what someone is
#willing to pay for it.

Haggling isn't my strong point. I guess I've lived down here on the
border long enough to have developed a distaste for it. I know this
guy well enough to know he underpaid for it or he wouldn't have bought
it and that he won't be expecting top dollar for it either.

I'm hoping to get enough of a deal on it that I might be able to
resell at a profit if I don't care to keep it. I guess I'm more
interested in what they're selling for so I can see if what he'll take
is sufficiently under what they sell for to make it worth my time.

I have a bit of fascination with Korth, so I will probably keep it,
though I really could use the profit right now to finance one of my
projects. Thanks for your input.
