# # Coors is well know for being anti-gun. While gun rights are important,
# # they don't supercede property rights. The Coors family has the right
# # to prohibit things it doesn't like on it's own property, just like the
# # rest of us can prohibit things we don't like on our properties.

# I believe they should have to have reasonable cause to do any search.
No, the property owner has absolutely no rights over you, your person,
or your property.
Unless you consent, they can't search your car, search you, demand
answers to questions, etc.
They (the property owner) /can/ ask you to leave or fire you if you
don't comply with their requests, but that is the extent of what they
can physically do to you.
# Does a customer at a mall or department store have to allow the property
# owners to search their vehicles in the privately-owned parking lot?
No, unless you consent, they have no power or right to search you, your
vehicle, or your bags. If they suspect shoplifting, they can
temporarily detain you until law enforcement arrives, but that is it.
If you don't give your consent (and you aren't detained for alleged
shop-lifting), they can ask you to leave their property and file for
civil trespassing.
