I really don't see what's of value in the above links...
just a lot of lists of agencies that *may* have purchased
5.7 weapons in who knows what quantity, at some time or
another, perhaps only for evaluation. Don't you wonder
how/why "Dml5" was able to obtain that info? What were the
reasons behind the selection/purchase? And there's the other
side of the coin... How many departments decided not to
purchase them, either with or without evaluation, and why?

Then comes the obligatory, anecdotal, regurgitated, war
story stuff, which among other things, tout as evidence an
incident where a bad guy was shot in the neck and the bullet
transected the spine (imagine that!), tumbling Ginsu bullets
that "cut hearts in two", chest cavities turned to
"hamburger meat" and so forth. Big whoop-dee-doo.

Also the fiveseven moderator, who's credentials seem to be
he likes to promote his pet 5.7 (like an FN sales rep?),
makes a post that he's added the Chula Vista PD to the list
of agencies have made purchases, and that "they love the P90".

A little reality check... Chula Vista is a comparatively
small town immediately due south of San Diego, where I lived
for 50 years. Do research on the number of times the Chula
Vista PD has deployed a P90 in a tactical situation, let
alone whether a P90 or 5.7 pistol was actually used against
bad guys, or the real surgical and pathology documentation
of any injuries to said bad guys.

"Dml5", the "super moderator" of fiveseven forum, signed on
to tacticalforums.com's terminal effects forum a couple of
years ago and tried his spiel. The fellas over there
promptly gave him a virtual wedgie:

http://www.tacticalforums.com/cgi-bin/tacticalubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=78;t=000768

His fiveseven forum is a classic example of why anecdotal
"evidence" is so hyped, so sloppy and uncorroborated that it
is utterly useless. M&S (or LeMas) in spades...
