I have a friend who is about as liberal as they come. We're still
friends, though. He was asking one time why someone had 50 or 100
firearms. I started listing the "essentials":

* .22 revolver for target practice and starting beginners
* .22 autoloading pistol for target practice
* .22 lever-action rifle for target practice
* .22 bolt-action rifle for target practice and starting beginners
* .22 autoloading rifle for target practice

That's just one caliber, and we haven't even got to shotguns or
black-powder weapons yet.

I don't think he got the picture.
