ever heard of.

6.5-284 - It could be a pretty good long-distance varmit rifle.

Hunting/Field
Heavy barrel .220 swift, accurized with a smooth 3# trigger, bipod, and a
clear, bright, 6-24 scope. Varmits beware!
Light .243, accurized with a smooth 3# trigger, and a clear, wide, and
bright 3-9 scope. Antelope and deer.
Light .30-06, accurized with a smooth 3# trigger, and a clear, wide, and
bright 3-9 scope. Deer, elk, and hogs
..375 H&H, accurized with a smooth 3# trigger, and a clear, wide, and bright
3-9 scope. Elk, moose, bears, and hogs.
..458 Lott, with a smooth 3# trigger, an EOTech holosight, and a safari (Yes,
it's part of the gun.) :-). Maybe hogs, just to get used to it.
Marlin 1895, .45-70. I just really want one. It'd be good on hogs and
eastern deer.
