Inherited: Echo Scope Mounts

I recently inherited a couple of guns - there'll be a few more posts
concerning them in the near future :-)
The common theme among the long guns is an Echo scope mount.
The base on the firearm is mounted on the left side of the receiver, and is
a beveled peice of metal secured with three screws. Across the firearms,
there is two different designs that I'm aware of (there is a winchester
model 12 that remains with my father, that has the echo base on it).
The "rings" attach to the base with a counter beveled base, and for lack of
a better way of explaining it, 2 small clamps that fit into recesses in the
base.
The first one has 7/8" rings, and the rings are one peice of metal, with a
split tightened with screws. The scope in it is a Lyman Alaskan, and must
have the turrets removed to be mounted in the rings (there is no front bell
on the scope - forward of the eyepeice, with the exception of the turrets,
everyting is the same diameter). On the part of this mount that attaches to
the base mount there is:
ECHO
E.C. HERKNER CO
LITTELTON, COLO
The second set of "rings" are for a 1" scope, and are split. The scope in it
is a Weaver K-6. These rings are not compatible with the the first set. They
are split rings. On the part that attaches to the base mount there is:
ECHO
E.C. HERKNER CO
BOISE, IDAHO
Now to the actual question:
Is there any source for these mounts other that ebay? (One auction for the
7/8" variety right now, and none on gunbroker). I'd like to get modern
optics on them without drilling if possible.
Is there any source of information on these mounts? I've tried "Echo Mount",
"Echo Scope", and "Echo Scope Mount" on google, with less than stellar
results.
Are they worth anything?
Are the two scopes worth anything?
Many thanks for any info.
