# # Dan,
# # Asking for reloading data in a newsgroup is a lot like asking for
# # investment
# # advice in a dark alley.
# # Most of the people who post here, wish you only the best results, but
# # there
# # a a few REALLY bad apples....
# # The very best place to get loading data is from a current loading manual
# # or
# # directly from the components maker.
# # Good luck, and be careful.
# # Jack
#
# I see a lot of "hot" loads that I might categorize as being reckless on
# various forums, but do you think there are people deliberately posting
# dangerous loads?
#
I think that there MAY be people who would deliberately post dangerous
loads, and I am certain that there are others who will, unintentionally,
post dangerous loads.
When anything from a typo, to a bad memory, to deliberate malfeasance could
create an uneeded dangerous situation, maximum caution is the only
acceptable plan. It's just too big a risk to take.
I've read many posts on this and other newsgroups to arrive at my PERSONAL
opinions.
My feeling is that, if you can't trust everybody completely, you can't trust
anybody, completely.
I wouldn't use a load even from someone I knew and trusted, without
verifying it with current published data.
I guess that I trust 99% of everybody, 99%.
For the others, including the people who publish reloading data, I always
check, even published data, against a second source.
My fingers and eyes and life are to valuable to risk.
I always tell folks that my mother didn't raise any stupid kids ;-)
