On some of the new Wolf ammo, 45 ACP and maybe the 9mm (and maybe even more
calibers) they are not using that laquer that would get sticky when it got hot.
I am not sure what they are using now but it is different. You can feel it when
you handle the newer rounds as they feel slippery as compared to the old stuff.
One downside to the new finish on the cases; they rust a lot faster.
