Yes, but it's the _same_ air once you close it off. I don't know the
Hornady product in question, but I suspect that it might let fresh air
in at some non-zero rate. Yes, it's odd that a powder measure would
have a plastic that can be affected by powder. Yes, they should have
just replaced it no questions asked. But, I can't see leaving powder in
one for any length of time when I'm not actively loading. An aluminum
funnel is perfect for getting the powder back into the cans.
