One method would be to get another set of scope rings, mount them
upside down on the scope, get a chunk of Weaver-style base blank from
Brownell's for the rings to grab onto, then mount your laser on that.
You could maneuver the rings around your scope tube until you're
satisfied with the laser location, too. That's assuming you've got
enough tube left that you could mount another set of rings on the
scope. Just an idea. You might be able to find a suitable base that
would work upside down in a gun show junkbox, maybe some rings, too.
