I've seen many two-barrel twist-barrel rifles and shotguns in both
percussion and flint, never a three-barrel cluster. Probably too heavy
except if it was really small caliber. They were individually crafted,
not production-line items.
Without a description of maker's marks, it's hard to say what vintage
it is or what it's worth. This is a job for a specialized collector.
There were a lot of oddball and one-off off-the-wall guns made up by
individual smiths in the early percussion era, my bet is that it's one
of that type. The barrels and lock were usually marked somewhere, if
rust hasn't taken hold and wiped out the markings.
