Humans have a lot more depth to work with than varmints. FMJs that
will start to tumble in humans will just shoot right through a varmint.
If you can punch that FMJ through the head or spine, you'll be OK,
otherwise start looking for loads with proper varmint bullets. If
you've got a chronograph, it's easy to work up a load to match your
ballistics with the white box stuff.
