Memoy card questions - please help

Hi dear members,
I want to ask something about my PSONE and its memory cards,
1-I have a non-Sony memory card and when i connect it with 2nd Sony
controller, the memory card doesn't work and won't be recognized by the
console. The other Sony brand cards work fine with both controllers.
The non-Sony memory card works fine in first memory card slot or
in second slot alone. WHY?
2- I play KONAMI's Winning Eleven 4 and MLS Gamenight, but SOMETIMES:
when i try to save a game to my Sony memory card, it sometimes
interrupts saving process and says "an error occured when saving,
please retry". I retry the saving process and i can save successfully
after 2nd or more attempts.
Why does it say "an error occured when saving" and want me to retry
the saving process? (this happens sometimes as i said)
3-I saw a battery in my Sony brand memory card and it seems very
quality circuits, the non-Sony cards don't have batteries on it. Should
i better to replace the battery or will it be charged or not?
4-SOMETIMES, when i insert 2nd memory card VERY SLOWLY with the first
memory card is plugged, the 2nd Sony memory card can't be recognized
until i reset my PSONE console. WHY?
If you reply these questions, i appretiative a lot...
