Slightly OT - Google Groups' Usenet Archive: Accurate?...or

....or, how long have you been in RGVS and what was your first post?

After reading a post here in the group, I decided to take a look to see
if I could find how long I've been in RGVS, and what my first post was.
I went to Google Groups...and the info given was kind of odd. Putting
in my original, and first, email address ever into Google Groups(for
RGVS) resulted in this:

Jan. 21st, 1997, 3:50am

I find this hard to believe that it's my first post...but that's what
Google Groups is saying.

How accurate is Google Groups' usenet archive? I know it is said to
span back 20 years now, but I just question this information it's
giving me.

If it's accurate though, I guess I've been here for *10* years now,
going through 3 email addresses and 2 identities. What is everyone
else's stats?
