No problem, glad to be of service. If you have some canned air, you
might just be able to blow it out that way. Probably pretty loose on
the connector. Otherwise, schlop some alcohol on a cartridge and
insert/pull out a few times, that should clean it off also.
As for the screws, they are all the same except two which are
specifically for the 72-pin adapter. When I rebuild/refurb a NES, I
also like to clean off the RCA video connectors. I take out the
motherboard, get my dremel with the wire brush head, and clean off the
residue off the outside. Wish I could find one small enough to get
inside, but it does help.
