If you got on previous posts you'll see he 'compiles' this list by
searching maybe a handful of online "retail" sites. In other words,
its sort of like a pricegrabber for overpriced classic games. Biggest
problem is, most of those web pages jack the prices way up figuring if
somebody is looking there, they don't know what they're worth.

They games are also supposedly all 'CIB' which means the prices are
even more screwy and 99% useless as most stuff is loose.

Also, according to the previous posts like 'all price guides' the
intent is for people to sell under the listing thus his prices are a
bit on the high side even by his calculation.

eBay isn't consulted do to some legal reason or hogwash.

If it was a fan doing this in some attempt to help the community I'd
maybe try to give constructive critism. But he's simply trying to make
a buck off what has to date been a very innaccurate price guide.
Hopefully this will implode before either somebody wastes their money
or worse yet.. some flea market vendor gets ahold of it and uses it to
jack up their already funky prices.

Thanks for your comments, but I do have a couple of corrections to
make.

1st - I have been selling and researching games for more then 10
years. I have filtered out the sites that sell games for unbelievable
prices.
2nd - The games are not for CIB. For the NES platform, most games are
bought and sold loose, so the prices reflect that.
3rd - The "intent" is not for people to sell under guide price. But
retailers that will use such a guide will tend to try and sell the
games for under guide price. I never said I use high prices.
4th - I am prohibited from using eBays closed auction prices. That is
a violation of their user agreement. If I get enought interest then I
will negotiate licensing rights with eBay. However, I do use ebay's
Buy-It-Now listings, which tend to be lower then normal retail.

I would also ask you to not judge my intentions. You don't know me.
The reason, and the ONLY reason I started this project was because the
2 existing guides that list prices are inaccurate. My goal and my
only goal is to create an accurate guide for people interested in
buying and selling video games. If in the end, that was accomplished,
would you be upset if I got paid for my efforts?

PS. I am toying with the idea of making the guide free and simply
charging to advertising. Any suggestions?
