First appeared on the Vectrex, and was ported to the arcade. First

Wrong again!!!!!
It was Pong. Nolan Bushnell saw the Magnavox Odyssey, and using a
technically different approach, he took the video ping pong game to the
arcade.
It was so peaceful around here, too.

You can argue it out with KLOV.
http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=7400
"Trivia
This game first appeared for the Vectrex home video game system
produced by CGE and Milton Bradley. This was the first home game to be
converted into a commercial arcade game. This was the last color
vector game released by Cinematronics, which was in Chapter 11
bankruptcy at the time."
What's to argue, nimrod? Pong came out in 1972, more than 10 years
before.
Did the Odyssey (or any games) have Pong in its name? Did Pong play, sound
and score exactly like Odyssey's Table Tennis or was it more of a similarity
thing like the PacMan vs. K.C. Munchkin lawsuit? If so we can officially
say that Odyssey 2 had PacMan before the Atari 2600.
George
Ralph Baer addressed the issue a long time ago, and basically, he didn't
feel any desire to pursue a lawsuit, but had he wanted to, he prolly
could have won. Nolan Bushnell has acknowledged the same. Atari was no
longer under the reigns of Bushnell when they filed against a Magnavox
that had long since severed ties with Baer. Your arguing Apples and PCs
again, spacey, and you've got windows on your side.
