I give them my address since it's needed, but I always use some
bastardization of my name. i.e. NOT my name, but close enough perhaps
phonetically on the last name to ensure the postman gives me the mail. It's
funny to see as well how much junk mail you get afterwards sent to that name
LOL
Magazines come to my Dog, well ex-Dog. Although I do pay for a
Subscription to EGM, I got a half dozen magazines for free.. Official
XBOX and PS2 Magazine, Game Informer, PC Gamer, etc. Some even with the
Demo Discs.. Magazines make most of their money on advertisements which
is linked to subscribership. If their subscriber numbers drop they give
away subscriptions.. plenty of online sites will hook you up. Just
always use a fake name so you can track the spam if they decide to get
cheeky and sell your info.
