OFF TOPIC: Last Mobile Space Battalion - A new classic ;)

Now that I have a computer again, I decided to create my first video
game ever. I stayed away from that in the past because I thought game
programming would be too much. Now I know it is :) But it was still
fun work.

This is is a PC game called Last Mobile Space Battalion, or LMSB. It
kind of combines elements of space invaders and missile command. It
isn't too bad for just a few days work. Certainly, it came out better
than I envisioned. If anyone wants to check it out, it will be
available for download at winsite.com after their archivist processes
it.

You don't need directx or direct draw or anything like that. I did not
get fancy with this. It is just a simple vb app using just one form.
You just need the vb5 run-times. The source code is included. I'll be
back on Monday to field questions or beat down the derisive :)
