FS(~Chicago): Venture (good, bad, ugly)

Exidy Venture available for sale in Evanston, IL (first suburb north
of Chicago), pick up or Beltmann/NAVL only (or any carrier that I
don't need to pallet/crate). Local delivery might be available for
some gas money.

A full set of pictures, including a video w/sound of it working can be
seen here:
http://joem.joesarcade.com/Venture/Venture.html. The black streaks
across the cabinet in the pictures are just shadows from trees and
overhead power lines.

The good:
-game PCB, monitor and sound is fully working (coin door not tested, I
think the marquee light is out, didn't notice).
-control panel is in very nice condition, just some slight cracking in
the overlay at the bend of the control panel on the right side.
-the left side side art is complete and in great shape
-the marquee and front plexi are in excellent condition

The bad:
-no manual or back door sheet (back door is present, with lock and
key)
-there is moisture damage on the right side, the vertical side along
the back. I show pictures of this.
-there is no cardboard or plastice monitor bezel between the monitor
and the front plexi. I don't know if this game is supposed to have one
or not.
-the power cord is really frayed and will need replacing. That's why I
only had it on for 2 hours, I didn't want to leave it unattended for
longer than that.
-the monitor is a Wells Gardner 46xx. But it's actually got a nice
clear picture with little to no burn in. Doesn't need recapping that I
notice.
-the right side side art is completely missing.

The ugly:
-the cabinet has structure failings in several places. I show this in
the full set of pictures. The piece of wood that goes across the top
of the cabinet (angled down towards the back) is slightly warped and
puliing away from the sides of the cabinet. The bottom of the cabinet
and the back vertical piece of wood that the back door would rest on
is separating from the sides of the cabinet. The wood itself doesn't
appear to be damaged, but those pieces need to be reattached to each
other. I try to show this in the pictures, but I didn't capture it
very well. Since I took the pictures, the short vertical piece of wood
that the back door rests on has come completelly off. I still have it,
but it needs to be reattached.

I normally try not to part out a dedicated game, especially a
relatively uncommon one like this, but due to the structure damage and
wood warping and it's missing side art on one side anyways if I don't
get interest in the whole cabinet, I would part this out and sell the
parts individually. I would like to wait a few days and see if I can
sell the whole game though.

Asking $270. If you don't like the price, make me a reasonable counter
offer. Not really looking for trades right now, unless you're going to
offer a Chiller or Super Don Quix-ote or something. You are welcome to
come by and see and play the game. If you have questions or want other
pics, let me know. Very easy pick up, no stairs and you can back your
vehicle right up to it. Preference given to quick pick ups. Thanks for
looking.
