OK, I find myself up against the wall room-wise again... need to dump
some projects and redundancies. Some of this stuff you may have seen
before at higher prices...
Point Blank 2: cabinet's no showpiece, but solid. 25" monitor has a
really nice picture. Guns now both need work.. the left hand side has
a flaky trigger (prolly just a microswitch, haven't opened it yet) and
the right hand side doesn't register shots on screen, although it did
up until a couple weeks ago. $150 for this, come and take it away.
Gyruss: decent dedicated cabinet, although the paint could use some
touching up. Overall, appearance-wise, probably a 7.5-8.0, but it has
a really nice CPO (one minor flaw, otherwise perfect) and an original
Monroe stick, and a Centuri coin door. Monitor is a Jenn-Shin with a
TV tube, so no burn whatsoever. I replaced the edge connector and
power supply a while back to fix some intermittent weirdness. Game
plays awesome, comes with two partially-working spare board sets, a
Time Pilot board set (drops right in), and a high-score save kit. Oh,
and manual too. I really don't want to sell this, but I've got the
Konami 10-in-1 now, so I can't really justify keeping it. If I can't
get what I want for it, I'll probably drop it at my folks' place for
my nephews to play when they visit. $400 or B.R.O.
Rowe/AMI R-85 jukebox, loaded with 45s: I don't have it in front of
me, but I think it holds 100? No idea if it works, power cord was
severed, no keys... I didn't want to power it up without looking
inside first, made the stupid mistake of drilling out the front lock,
now I'm going to have to figure out how to turn the lock bar. Really a
nice looking piece, with the infinite-depth mirrored front. Looks like
this: http://www.pinballrebel.com/archive/ami/r85/r85.htm I'd love to
keep this, but even if I had the time to put into it, I wouldn't have
the room. No idea what these are worth, so I'll throw it out there for
$300?
Astro Fighter cocktail: looks nice, plays fine, although there is
either a RAM or addressing problem, I think... sprites have dotted
lines through them and if the game sits in attract mode long enough,
it locks up. Pretty neat little cabinet, with volume and reset
accessible without opening the lid. Monitor has a really nice picture,
sounds are pretty cool. This is another one I'm not in love with the
idea of selling, and would probably just fix it and stick it over the
folks' place... but then, I'm not asking that much for it. $150 B.R.O.
Arachnid Super 6 English Mark Darts: very fun, great way to play
cricket while getting stewed, the computer handles all the math for
you! Worked awesome up until a couple months ago, when the power
supply crapped out on me. Haven't spent any time on it, probably a
really easy fix. Will throw in all my darts, soft tips, etc. $150
B.R.O.
Also have some freebies I will throw in with any qualifying
purchase. ;^) Got a Commodore 1084 monitor for your test bench, tubes
and yokes, probably some boards, etc.
Will discount multiple purchases. Games are located in Pembroke and
Weymouth, but will deliver for gas/beer. Don't like my prices, drop me
a line. Will take pics for interested peoples.
Thanks,
Rob
