If you get a full picture, then you do not have horizontal collapse.
You stated the picture is there, but just has "snow" flickering
across it? If so, check all of the connectors, with the game off,
unplug/plug and see if that makes a difference. This includes on
the power supply itself. Pay special attention to the video cable
(white probably) and how well it is attached at both ends.
